The Department of State Services, DSS, has sacked Marilyn Ogar, its former spokesperson. Her sack is not unconnected with her role in the last administration and the run-up to the 2015 election. Ogar had been accused of alleged partisanship in the build-up to the general elections.
At several press conferences she addressed, she gave the impression that she was representing Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, the ruling party at the time. The sack followed her recent demotion from the rank of assistant director. It has also been alleged that she was awarded multimillion naira contract to lift kerosene.
