Sweeping Changes at NNPC

Emmanuel Kachikwu, the newly appointed group executive directors of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, has swung into action sacking the entire divisional heads of the corporation and reducing the number from eight to four.

Ian Udoh, head of Refining and Petrochemicals, Adebayo Ibirogba, head of Engineering and Technical division, David Ige, Gas and Power, Attahir Yusuf of Business Development, Dan Efebo, Corporate Services, Bernard Otti, Finance and Accounts, Aisha Abdurrahman, Commerce and Investments, and Joseph Dawha leading Exploration and Production, were all shown the exit door. All of them were appointed March 2014 by former President Goodluck Jonathan.

The new directorates and their group executive directors are Refining and Engineering with M.K Baru; Exploration and Production, Denis Nnamdi; Commercial and Investment, Bankole Komolafe and Finance with Isiaka AbdulRazak.
