After a long sickness-induced vacation in London, United Kingdom, UK, President Muhammadu Buhari who returned to the country last Friday, but indicated he would rest through the weekend, has finally resumed work on Monday.
He has since transmitted a letter to the National Assembly, informing the federal lawmakers to that effect.The letter was dispatched to the National Assembly through Ita Enang, Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly Matters (Senate).
Femi Adesina, Special Adviser, media and publicity, to the President, confirmed this to State House correspondents.
The President and Yemi Osinbajo, his vice, soon met inside the President’s office at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, preparatory to his full resumption. Osinbajo held fort for Buhari as the Acting President while he was away.
