The housing estate, which would be located at Kemta, Idi-Aba area of Abeokuta, would be for the civil servants who are contributing to the national housing fund. Jumoke Akinwunmi, general manager, Ogun State Housing Corporation, made this known during a meeting with Oumar Diop, the resident regional representative of Shelter Afrique at the Plainfiled Estate, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta. “Shelter Afrique is willing and committed to making available the sum of N2bn to realize the project aimed at providing affordable shelter for workers who had not benefited from previous government housing schemes in the state,” stated Diop.
