Work on the long awaited 5, 000 capacity multi-story car park has commenced at the international terminal of the Murtala Muhammed Airport, MMIA, Ikeja, Lagos. Yakubu Dati, general manager, Corporate Communications, Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria, FAAN, said the car park, which occupies a 9,000 square meter land area would reduce the inconvenience suffered by airport users due to inadequate parking space at the airport. He hopes that the proximity of the new car park to the international terminal will make transportation easier for passengers.
