To Raji Muideen Taiwo, mother luck smiled at him recently when he won N1 million in a promo by FrieslandCampina WAMCO, makers of the Peak milk. The Lagos based mining engineer, had never participated in any promo before because he did not believe in them, but was encouraged by a trader to participate in the Peak promo.

Taiwo who often buys peak milk in packs chose a favorite retailer in his neighborhood not knowing this retailer would one day make him a millionaire. While the 60th anniversary of the Peak brand was on, his chosen retailer rewarded him with bags and a bucket for his loyalty. The woman according to him said, “a bigger promo from peak is coming,” but Taiwo seemed uninterested.

Explaining how got involved with the promo, he said, “I saw a huge bill board with details of the promo which attracted my attention, I decided to try my luck and followed the instructions and that was all,” he said.

Taiwo believes the N1 million he won in the Peak promo will definitely transform his life for good. He plans to put the money in a fixed deposit account for now and later invest it in Nitrate chemicals. “I feel excited and happy. I have never for once hoped that I could win. It is God’s doing. It is God’s favour,” he exclaimed.

The Peak ‘Reach for Millions’ promo is part of 60th anniversary celebration of the Peak brand in Nigeria. The promo is targeted towards rewarding consumers for 60 years of loyalty and patronage and also to build brand love with consumers who have been consistently consuming and are willing to consume more of Peak.
