FAAN Improves Ground Facilitation At Lagos Airport

Following the recent commissioning of an ultra-modern car park at the Murtala Muhammed Airport,  Lagos, the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, FAAN, has intensified efforts towards sanitizing the airport.
A statement released Henrietta Yakubu, general manager, Corporate Affairs, FAAN, said travelers who wish to use personal cars should use the newly commissioned car park.
It said the Authority had also provided buses to aid those who wish to make use of the temporary car park, where airport shuttle is provided at no cost.
“In addition, the Authority has finalized arrangements  to increase the number of buses available for this operation as soon as possible,” said the statement.
With the latest arrangement, FAAN stated that there would be drastic reduction in traffic gridlock at MMIA, while crowd control would also improve tremendously. “Also, the new arrangement will foster better security and safety at the airport. FAAN wishes to apologise to our esteemed passengers and airport users for any difficulties they might be encountering due to the latest arrangement.
“While we plead for better understanding by airport users, we promise to continuously deliver watertight security, safety and seamless facilitation at the nation’s airports,” said the statement.
