FAAN Graduates International Airport Managers

In line with the Transformation Agenda of President Goodluck Jonathan, Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria, FAAN, has graduated three of the Authority’s staff from the Airport Management Professional Accreditation Programme, AMPAP. The AMPAP programme, which commenced in 2012, was concluded in February 2014, making the successful candidates Certified Airport Managers. The senior management team of the authority made of directors and senior staff witnessed the presentation.

The certified Airport Managers who successfully completed the AMPAP, in line with the Global ACI/ICAO objectives are Kabir Y. Mohammed, chief of staff to the MD/CEO, Vivian Menyanga of the Training Department and Emmanuel Chidera Emmanuel of the Airport Operations Department.

Saleh Dunoma, managing director of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, while presenting the candidates with their certificate, congratulated them and promised that the management of FAAN would ensure that the work force is constantly improved through training. He added that staff should also be exposed to foreign training and not restricted to Nigeria alone, in order to bring them to the same level with their foreign counterparts in aviation.
