President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of John Atteh as Acting Comptroller General of the Nigeria Customs Service, NCS. Atteh’s appointment was sequel to the resignation and its approval of Diko Abdullahi as Comptroller General.

Unitl his appointment, Atteh was a Deputy Comptroller General Finance Administration & Technical Service, FATS, and hails from Bayelsa State. He was the most senior serving Deputy Comptroller General.
