ACTV Launches Conditional Access Module in Nigeria

Nigerian viewers of satellite television can now enjoy the Conditional Access Module, CAM, courtesy of African Cable Television, ACTV, the newest entrant into the pay TV market in Nigeria. CAM card is an electronic device which equips an integrated digital television or what we call satellite Smart TV to be able to capture and view satellite video channels directly without the need for a set-top box or decoder as it is popularly known.

ACTV entered into a partnership with LG, the global giant in audio and visual electronics to bring this product to as many Nigerians as possible. About 5, 000 units have already been sold in just a few months. ACTV launched CAM Card for satellite Smart TVs shortly after introducing Nigeria’s first card-less HD/PVR decoder.
